Subho Bijoya Bengali Film Review!
Friends, We'll be reviewing the Bengali film Subho Bijoya today. Subho Bijoya is a film with a well written story, featuring Kaushik Ganguly with Churni Ganguly and Bonny Sengupta with Koushani Mukherjee.
The main female character of the film is named Bijoya. And the young actress has been named Uma. So the audience can expect the movie titled Subho Bijoya to be a beautiful family film.
No, director Rohan Sen and his screenwriter have shown a family in today's style. The ailing Bijoya (Churni Ganguly) lives alone with her elderly husband (Kaushik Ganguly) in a huge palatial house.
A significant reason for this is the house owner's flamboyance, personality, and quite flamboyant habits. His younger brother (Kharaj Mukherjee) runs an illegal contractor business; that's why he is away from home.
His little son flees to Mumbai because he will be the actor in the film. The eldest son is well-established and married to an expatriate. Although the elder daughter is married, she is now a single mother. But at home, almost everyone gets together during Durga Puja. At the beginning of the film, it is shown that Durga Puja is coming. A thatched structure is being made in the Durga Puja building of the house.
The old woman, Bijoya, is very sick. The doctor asked for a biopsy on suspicion of cancer. Her husband calls the elder wife, Uma (Koushani Mukherjee), and informs her about Bijoya's illness and says that Durga puja will not take place this year.
But the motherless Uma decided not to stop Durga Puja this year. It was on her initiative that everyone came to the house. Not so much to see her sick mother as it is to attend annual family gatherings and Durga Pujas.
Uma alone prepares for Durga Puja. Everyone else joins hands with her. The film spread from Panchami to Dahami during Durga Puja. Sometimes songs are played to entertain the audience during Durga Puja.
However, it must be admitted that the structure of the film is commercial, but there is an impression of a clean taste. And that is the unique selling proposition of Subho Bijoya.
Kaushik Ganguly and Churni Ganguly played the roles of a senior couple in the house. Their natural ease of acting makes the two characters believable.
Others deserve equal praise. Koushani Mukherjee and Bonny Sengupta, in particular. Both of them have left the commercial genre and become very normal.
Devtanu D, Sayonima Roy, Amrita De, and Sweta Mishra in the teenager's team acted along with senior actors Kharaj Mukherjee and Manasi Sinha.
And in the last scene, the very restrained presence of singer-composer Anindya Chatterjee as a guest artist caught the eye.
Anyway, all in all, the Subho Bijoya movie is a must-watch. One day, you can watch Subho Bijoya with your family.
I like Kharaj Mukherjee; he has done amazing performances every time. How did you like the Subho Bijoya movie? Of course, you will tell us.
