Friends, Today we will be reviewing the Bengali film Paka Dekha. The Soham Chakraborty and Sushmita Mukherjee pair will fill your mind. Paka Dekha is a time-pass movie.
Premendra Bikash Chaki is a popular face in Tollywood. A cameraman has now turned into a director. He makes films for the general audience.
Who buys a ticket and enters the cinema hall for two hours of fun and enjoyment, not to hear or watch any rash talk?
His clear admission is that film is the primordial and eternal medium of entertainment. Society and culture are not his cups of tea.
So one should enter the hall to watch Paka Dekha with the hope of pure fun and relaxation, not to fulfilling any publicised social obligation.
There is very good chemistry between actor Soham Chakraborty and actress Sushmita Mukherjee. And also music by Jeet Ganguly. The location of the tea garden with music will not look bad.
But screenwriter Padmanabha Dasgupta has hidden the real arrow up his sleeve till halftime. Joy (Soham Chakraborty) is a young man in this fast-paced age who is extremely punctual and health-conscious.
On the contrary, Tiasa means that Sushmita Mukherjee prefers to lead a fast life, which is why she has a love-hate relationship with her father.
But when love blossoms between the two opposites, it is necessary to meet Joy's family before settling on a formal date. That's where Padmanabha Dasgupta hides the real card!
On reaching Mallarpur in Birbhum, it is seen that Joy's parents (Kharaj Mukherjee and Laboni Sarkar) and even grandfather (Deepankar De) are drunk.
Tiasa's parents are shocked to see such a situation! But the director and the screenwriter will give the audience a treat.
So, with strict discipline, restraint, and health awareness, everyone sat down at a table with bottled water mixed with vodka to have a formal date.
So, no matter how exaggerated Laboni Sarkar, Kharaj Mukherjee, and Deepankar De's getting drunk may be, the audience will probably forgive it all for full enjoyment.
This is the only hope for the film's success. But yes, director Premendra Bikash Chaki has left no stone unturned in creating drama and fun. Sometimes it also shows a bit of cinematic magic.
And acting? Both Soham Chakraborty and Sushmita Mukherjee are successful as a pair. The second half of the film is almost taken away from them by the three old men, Kharaj Mukherjee, Laboni Sarkar, and Deepankar De.
Adhering to the religion of the comedy film, all of them have given the audience a chance to dive into the fountain of endless joy by taking the audience away from the thoughts of reality and unreality in a well-seasoned dramatic performance.
If you love to watch comedies, then Paka Dekha is only for you. You can go and watch the Paka Dekha movie with your friends or someone special and enjoy it. I think you will like this movie.
